Fisher-Price vs. First Price – spot the differences…

This one has been ‘bothering’ me for quite a while, basically since the first time I spotted a product with the First Price logo on it.

Is it just me, or are these logos quite similar? Both have a red background, a white, bold font, and the names are very similar.

Fisher-Price is a company that produces toys for infants and children, headquartered in East Aurora, New York. Fisher-Price is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel.

First Price is a popular Norwegian low-cost brand with products ranging from food and drinks to cleaning and animal food. It is property of NorgesGruppen who also owns the stores in which it is sold.

I wonder whether Mattel has had a serious chat with NorgesGruppen yet about this topic, or whether they just don’t bother since they don’t sell the same kinds of products…?
