Today, at 13:33 local time, Jacob Meulie entered this over-populated planet by C-section. He’s a healthy boy of 3980 grams and 52 cms. of length. Marianne needed a couple of hours to recover, but now both mother and son are doing just fine.
Yes, today was the day on which our little Jacob would enter this world. Turns out they’re too busy at the hospital, so we have been rescheduled for tomorrow… :-/ Too bad… On June 5th Jacob would have shared his birthday with fine people like Sokrates, Thomas Chippendale (the furniture guy, not the strippers!), Pat
Today’s the day! Today my son will enter this overcrowded planet. Some time this morning Jacob Meulie will be taken out of my partner by means of Caesarean section in the hospital of Fredrikstad, Norway. 🙂
Earlier today we had another checkup at the hospital of ‘junior’. We spent half the morning at the hospital and had about 4 consults I think, but all is well! We also found out that ‘junior’ most likely will be a boy! 🙂 Still expected to ‘pop out‘ in the 2nd week of June 2008.

Yes, it’s true! If all goes well, I’m gonna be a daddy next year! 🙂 There’s not much else I can say as of now, just that all is going according to schedule, and both mommy & ‘junior’ are in good health. This is the ultrasound taken last wednesday.
