It is really strange. I think you have to change your motherboard or at leat to update your motherboard
They changed the motherboard, which fixed the problem.
(I first tried upgrading the BIOS but since the installed version and the latest available version are the same, the upgrader refused)
Oh well…I’m happy for you!I shall try to bother my vendor again.
Many thanks for your answer.
Regards
OK, I have a similar problem. One year ago, I bought a new motherboard: 122-CK-NF66, nForce 650i Ultra( by EVGA). After one year of total abnormal and weird work of my PC which is build around this motherboard( freezing during POST, problems with hard drives and USB ports and so on), I discovered by Everest program that:
“BIOS type Award
BIOS version (73N2P01) EVALUATION ROM-NOT FOR SALE”
Now, it seems that: this is it, because my vendor told that I must upgrade my BIOS( flash my EPROM); in their opinion the mobo which they sold me is OK and they have no duty.
Also the producer( EVGA) told me the same.
I’m quite lost. Can you tell me if they changed your mobo?
Thanks
