And my next phone will be a… Nokia N900!

Well, it’s taken me quite a while to make up my mind this time, but now the order has been placed: my next mobile phone will be a Nokia N900.
This phone has been high on my interest list ever since I read the first rumours about it, back in May. The same applies to Android OS phones, but Maemo OS is just a little more open than Android OS. My current good experiences with the Nokia N95 8GB also helped me go for Nokia again.

I ordered mine at Lefdal, since they had a good price and free shipping. (Elkjøp would also have been an option, since they have about the same price. (Coincidentally Lefdal & Elkjøp also happen to have the same owner…)

For protection from the elements I ordered a Qubits case from Amazon UK. Let’s see which arrives first… 😎

  1. A definate winner in my opinion. Out of all the phones I have had over the years, this Nokia is so powerful and meets all my requirements.

The built-in 32 GB storage is huge and I don’t ever have to worry about storing too much data. I am usin my phone instead of my iPod now and have stored over 3000 songs so far!

Thumbs up to Nokia on this excellent piece of technology.

  2. I love Nokia N900 ! Hope i could have one. Nokia phones reminds me of my previous cellphone. It was stolen by somebody without heart. I remember I put it in my bag didn’t notice that my phone was stolen, I only aware when I arrive at home. The lesson that i can get is that we should alert, careful and aware people surround us. more power to your site God bless 😉

  3. 12 Month Phone Contracts

I know I’m probably going to be considered a bit behind the times here but my next phone is going to be an iPhone 🙂 I have a Nokia 6300 at the moment and it’s served me well but I think the time has come to upgrade.

  4. Definately a cool phone. But I have to say that you ordering it from lefdal did a very smart thing. There are a huge difference in prices on phones among the webshops. One phone could easily cost 25-35% more on the “wrong” webshop. I know, ‘cus I compare prices every day. Cheers. – Ray J.

  5. I’ve had the phone for a couple of weeks now, and I can say I am quite satisfied with it. Battery life could be a little better, but it’s good enough for my purposes.

Screen is simply gorgeous, and I love that it’s basically a Linux communication device. 😎
