Seal of the city of RomeRome, here we come!
Marianne & I will be visiting the eternal city for a few days. Until thursday we’ll be camping out at 58 Le Real De Luxe B&B Rome. We’re flying to Rome from Sweden, with FlyMe. Let’s hope they have a little more leg space than Ryan Air…

  1. For anyone who wonders: SPQR stands for ‘Senatus Populusque Romanus’, or in proper English: ‘The Senate and the Roman People’. This refers to the government of the ancient Roman Republic, and is used as an official signature of the government. It appears on coins, at the end of documents made public by inscription in stone or metal, in dedications of monuments and public works.
