James Bond: 12(!) actors, and 27 movies in 60 years

6x James Bond

I’ve been looking for a list of all James Bond movies in chronological order myself more than once in the past, so when I eventually found the information I figured I’ll make it a little easier for others to find as well by posting a chronological list here.

The first Bond movie, Dr. No, premiered on October 5th, 1962.

The release of the most recent Bond movie, ‘No time to die’, was originally scheduled for March 31st, 2020, but got postponed a couple of times because of the coronavirus/COVID-19, and it was eventually released on September 28th 2021.

  1. At least you mention Barry Nelson, but you don’t put the year he was ‘James Bond,’ being the very first actor to portray the character should be significant. He played JB in 1954’s “Casino Royale.”

Also, who is Bob Holness, and when did he play JB..?!

  2. The fact that Bond is always referred to as 007 is actually mentionned but if you’ve noticed he is also told that it’s just a number. 007 could be anybody but there is only one James Bond. Besides James Bond could never be a real agent because he lacks all the skills of real field agents. This is a story people…not the real world. So just sit back and enjoy the fantasy. The stories were meant to be entertaining, not factual.

  3. Ian flemming would turn in his grave with the proposal of putting a female 007 in an English gentleman role.It is not what it’s all about.

  4. Tbh I thought that 007 was that one guy Murphy in no time to die. Its the only 007 i’ve ever watched.

  5. David R Huckstep

Come on folks, don’t ruin the tradition and the creator of James Bond with a female Bond. No place for so called political correctness. What is next, a black female, a Hispanic female, an Asian female, and on and on. Please don’t!!!!!!!

  6. Daniel Sean Brosnan

Is it true that they are thinking of a female acting in the lead role of the next James Bond .🤔wonder what her name will be
