This will be my last ‘full’ week at the office. Next week my ‘pappaperm’ (paternity leave) starts, and I go from 100% to 40%. Only on Mondays and Wednesdays my colleagues will see me, whereas Jacob will have me on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays for feeding, sleeping, pooping & playing…
Am I looking forward to it? Not sure…
I am not quite looking forward to doing my workload in 2 days, instead of 5. Not really looking forward to poopy diapers either… 😎
On the other side, it should be nice to get to spend more time with the little one. Feed him, play with him, take him out (weather permitting…), give him the chance to hear more Dutch (we’re attempting to raise the little kid bilingual).
In other words, to see my son grow up. 🙂
It will be quite a challenge probably, especially the first week, but I am sure I will manage…
