One of my occasional hobbies is putting new computer systems together. Here’s the latest system, with some pretty cool specs if I may say so:
- cabinet – Cooler Master Mystique RC-631
- motherboard – ABIT AB9 Pro
- PSU – Hiper Strømforsyning ATX 580W
- CPU – Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
- memory – 4 GB Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2
- GPU – Gainward GeForce 7950GT 512MB
- HD – Western Digital Raptor 150GB
IMHO this will make a pretty fast system!
As soon as the good folks at Komplett have mailed me the parts, I will put the beast together and report back some findings… 😎
Nov. 6th: Damn Postal Service here… Or, more accurately: damn Joker Grålum postal employee! Package tracking had shown me that the shipment arrived this morning at the main postal facility here in town. This usually means it arrived at the local postal office around 5pm. So I kept on checking the tracking service:
- 5pm: no package…
- 6pm: no package…
- 7pm: no package…
- 8pm: the postal office closed and still no package…
- 8:30pm: the tracking service showed the package had arrived at 6:05pm…!
Aarrgghh!
