Recently I’ve been checking out some of the new smartphone/pda/all-in-one devices that are looming at the horizon. There are 2 that currently especially catch my eye:

ETEN Glofiish M800
i-mate Ultimate 9502

Both of these have a VGA screen, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Actually, most of the specs on these 2 devices are quite similar as the comparison at PDAdb.net shows.

The thing I wonder a bit about is which one runs smoother. According to the specs, the M800 has a CPU which is 25% faster than the CPU of the Ultimate 9502 (since they don’t use the exact same type of CPU it is hard to draw any conclusions from this…). However, the Ultimate 9502 has 100% more RAM onboard… I’m looking forward to a review from someone who will be lucky enough to try these 2 pocket beasts side-by-side!

On the other hand… Since I will most likely purchase my device outside Norway (my country or residence) I may want to go for a device with onscreen keyboard instead… We’ll see…
