The camcorder looks sleek but a little awkward to hold, for being HD and the price you rally cant go wrong. Checkout my blog sometime thanks!

This camcorder seems like a really good option for HD especially with the price. I've been looking at the Panasonic HDC-SD1 for a while now and really love all the features, but this Sanyo has just about all the same features and is hundreds of dollars less expensive. The size is great too, because I've been looking for a small camera to take traveling with me. Thanks for bringing this product to my attention!

Well, normally I wouldn't be this harsh, but it is too much of a coincidence that the email my partner sent in Norwegian got a reply, and the emails I sent both the day before and the day after got ignored...
So whether it's their lack of knowledge of English, or their crappy mail server, in either case: less than optimal customer support! 8-)

About that word of warning (regarding the e- mail sendt to Scandinavian photo in English): I just received an e- mail from Scandinavian Photo saying that theyve had problems with their e- mail server for quite some time, but that they have finally fixed the problem. I also sent an e- mail that they did'nt respond to, but they were very friendly and apologetic when i phoned them, and they gave good help and advice. I ordered a Nikon D3 from them, and they delivered swiftly, cheaply and without problems. So don't be too hard on them!

Thats a very impressive size for an HD camcorder! I would also recommend Aipteks GO-HD camcorder because of its stunning quality and portability. Technology continually produces camcorders with higher quality and even smaller every day!

I haven't had much time to experiment with it, but so far, so good.
One thing that could have been better is the quality in low light conditions (only with video. with photo's the flash handles any low light easily...)

Yes, it is possible to watch HD-video on a non-HD TV, but of course you do lose some quality...

Hello. I'm waiting for mine.
Are you satisfied with its global performance? Can you watch your videos in a normal TV set(not an HD one)? Is there a great difference in terms of image quality?
Thanks.

Hmm, a word of warning about Scandinavian Photo. They seem to ignore any/all emails to customer service which are written in English... :-(

I have sent 3 different emails in English about several topics, and never got a reply.
Then I had someone translate my last request in Norwegian and I sent it again: got a reply within 24 hours! :-/
