Arrival

After a long, long, long flight via Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur, we finally arrived at Melbourne Airport. It was 7am when we touched down, and a little after 8am when we made it through Customs and the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service. The latter took a while because we were importing a couple of kilos of Norwegian brown cheese;-)

But then we finally came eye-to-eye with (one of) the main reason of our visit: Ellen & Iz! Seeing those 2 smiling girls waiting for us made it all worth while! ;-)

After a short ride in a not-too-new Volvo we arrive in the Northcote suburb of Melbourne, where I had a chance to change clothes. After all, it was summer in Norway when we left and in Australia it was winter. I also snapped a photo of the 2 sisters together.  :-)
